Hello

Todays card is yet another simple one for me. I am so impressed with myself for using a stamp I bought last year and putting it to use. Yayyy! How many of you all buy new products, thinking you're going to use right then, only to discover that its collecting dust somewhere in your craft room? Come on now, don't be shy. Lol. Well, I know I'm guilty of it, and I'm trying to use more of the things I've bought.

Anyway, on to the card. LOL. This card is a standard A2 card using just plain black and white cardstock. For my second layer I used my scoreboard to add lines to my cardstock for a bit of character. The ribbon I use is one that I found at my local Micheal's in the dollar section. I was quite surprise to see it for that price. I was able to get a lot of inspiration from this card. I hope it inspires some of you all to just pull out the things in your craft you may have forgotten about, and create using them. Thanks for stopping by today.

Picking Apples

Hello again!

Yes! I'm back. Man! My mojo has really been up this week. Woo hoo!!! I've got several projects in the works and I also managed to create a few cards in the process. I'm also thinking about making videos again, but this time I would like to do video tutorials and also post them on my blog. So much that I want to do.

Todays card is an Autumn card. My first Autumn card of the year. When creating this card I thought I had an actual Autumn sentiment, but as I got my card together and got down to that part, I realized that I did not have such a stamp. So what was a girl to do?????? Go buy one???? I think NOT!!!! LOL. I actually went through my stash and found some die cut stickers. Uhmmm! Well why not use these. Was my thought process. Unfortunately, it didn't say what I was looking for, but I think I got the job done. In the end, I was totally happy with the out come. Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Happy Together

Hello!

I hope you all are having a great Sunday so far. Today is going to be a relaxing day for us. I think the kids and I are going to just watch movies and eat popcorn. I am so looking forward to it.

Todays card is using another sticker sentiment from K&Company. I got an entire package that I need to put to use. Who says you gotta use stamped sentiments to create a card???? LoL. Just another alternative if you are just starting out or have packs of word stickers laying around. I hope you like this card as much as I do. Thanks for stopping by today!

Love and Laughter

Happy Saturday!

I hope you all are enjoying it as much as I am. As promised, here's another card I have created this week. I'm really liking this card. Maybe It's the purple and Orange tone combination I used. Very simple, but has a elegant style. This card was also very simple to put together. Nothing like 2-4 hours as it usually takes me to create a card. Gotta love that! LOL :)

For a Friend

Hello everyone,
Todays card is one that I created for a friend for there sisters birthday. I kept this card very simple, but with a little style. For my second layer I added a border using my Martha Stewart score board. I love that technique. The card inside is a personal message with a little humor so I paired it with a sentiment stamp from Friskars that I thought was perfect for the occasion. LOL. Thanks for stopping by today. Enjoy your Labor Day weekend!

Have a blessed day!

Birthday Wishes!

I forgot to share earlier the photo of the birthday card I created for my niece. Can you tell I tried to create a cloud background and a sidewalk for my image? LOL. I had a blast with this card and stepping out of my box to try new techniques.

Happy Birthday!!!

Wow! It's been a long time since I posted to my blog. Now that school has started things should be quit calm around here.

My niece turned two years old a few weeks ago and I wanted to create something special for her and also her parents. I decided to create a little keepsake by creating a layout that could be hung on her bedroom wall. I think it turned out quit awesome for only my second cricut layout.

It was quit a hit at the party I must add. Seeing the look on her tiny face was priceless :)

There are Hundreds!!!

Hello Everyone,

I have a totally different card to share today. I know the last few days I have been creating Cricut cards, but today I figured I would create a card with out using my cricut. I just felt like doing something different and making a stamped sentiment my focus for my card. I didn't have a plan or sketch for this card. Today I just kinda winged it and went with the flow. I made it work and I'm very proud of myself.

For this card I used pattern paper by Websters Pages, Fiskars sentiment set, and my Spellbinders Eyelet Squares nestabilities. Everything else is from my stash. Thanks for stopping by today!

quite the Pear!

Happy Friday Everyone,

I hope your day is going great! I got a new card for you all today and guess what? I didn't use Create a Critter!!!! Lmbo! You all know that it won't be long before I bring it back out....... :)

I got a new cartridge that I have been wanting for awhile now. Cricut Preserves. At first, I thought that I wouldn't like or even want this cart, but boy was I wrong. I just love the cute fruit and tag images on this cart. I will definitely be using this more. I thought the pears would be nice to use for my first preserve card. My sentiment is a dollar stamp that I've had in my stash for quite sometime now. How perfect was that!

I hope you all have a blessed and safe weekend!

Happy 4th of July!!!!

You're the best!

Oops I did it again!

Another Create a Critter card. Yes! I'm loving it if you can't tell. Having a blast I must add. Although, I think I just might switch it up a bit and challenge myself to make shaped cards using these cute little animals. I've made a shaped card before using teapots, but never animals. I think I'm up for the challenge, so stay tuned for that post.

On to my card today. I got this cute card done yesterday while scrapping long distance on the phone with a dear friend. It's so much scrapping together with someone and boy does the time fly by. I used the cow for this card and added some pink buttons just to give it s little something extra. My sentiment is from an Hero Arts stamp set I've had in my stash for awhile. I noticed that I really need to get some animal saying sentiments. Okay, did I saw that right??? LOL. Anyway, let me know what you all think and where I can find some cute little animal word sentiments????

Have a Fabulous Day!

Happy Birthday

Hello Everyone,

Create a critter is the on going thing right now in my craft room. Lol. As I mentioned before, I just love this cart. Here's a simple quick card I created using the teddy face balloons. Well, at least that's what I call them. I was undecided about using the wiggle eyes, but my kids suggested that I had to. They just love those crazy eyes! That's what they call them. LOL

She has been creating cards left and right over the past few weeks. Her work is amazing!

I created this card for s challenge that I wanted to participate in. I used the Apples from my favorite cartridge, which is Create a Critter. Gotta love that cartridge. I titled it Apple 4th for Happy 4th. I thought it was a real cute and fun title to use. I hope you guys enjoy this card and thanks for stopping by again today!

Sun Shiny Day

Hi you all,

I'm back to share another card with you all. I'm really feeling the card I created today. I just love bright, bold, summer colors. I used an image by The Greeting Farm called Miss Anya Lounge. Love it! Of course I used my copic markers again to color her in. I call myself practicing and hopefully I will get the technique down soon. LOL.
I also used a new paper pack I found at Micheal's the other day. Very bright pretty collection by Recollections. You all will be seeing more from that collection.

I challenged myself again you all and stuck with adding more layers to my cards and more embellishments. I'm so used to keeping my cards simple, but I'm really enjoying stepping it up some. I hope you all like the card I made. Let me know what you think?

for you

Hello,

I hope you all had a great weekend! My family and I sure did. We got a chance to get away and enjoy an afternoon at a water park. Talk about having a blast! LOL.

Anyway on to my card. I created this card using a new stamp set by Fiskars. It's actually a background stamp that's cling mounted. I just love cling stamps. I didn't know exactly what to do with it, but I knew it was to pretty not to use, so I was up for the challenge. I colored it using my copic markers and the sentiment is also from the stamp set. I doubled my ribbon and added some new flowers by Prima. I hope you all like it. I'm trying to challenge myself to step out of my comfort box over here. Let me know what you all think?

life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness!

Hello Everyone,

I'm sorry I didn't get to post anything on yesterday. I did manage to create a card to share with you all.
For this card I decided to open and use a new stamp I picked up last week while I was out of town. This is my FIRST and ONLY Magnolia stamp that I own. I think I have a new love you all. LOL. I'm still learning to color with my copic markers, but I just couldn't pass up coloring her with them. I also paper peiced the flag using new paper from We R Memory Keepers. If you haven't noticed already, I also did some machine stitching on this card.

I had a blast creating this card and stepped out of my norm from simple to using a few techniques. I hope you all like it and thanks for stopping by today!

I just want to say Thank you to my new followers for stopping, checking me out, and leaving such sweet comments. I look forward to checking out and becoming a follower of your blog as well.

I love to be carefree

Hello Everyone,

Today I decided to create another cricut card. I love seeing creations that have been made with the cricut expression. I'm still getting the hang of it, but I'm so loving it.

For this card I used my favorite Create a Critter cartridge. I think this cat turned out super cute and I didn't add any doodles to it. LOL ( I'm a sucker for that) I love to doodle or add stitching to my cards, but not today. I also did something different to this card by adding stickers for my design and my sentiment. Me likes it!!!!

I entered this card into the Fantabulous Cricut challenge me Monday 65 challenge.

Happy Hello

Wow, two posts today! Whoop whoop! Lately I haven't had much of a mojo and its been depressing. Every now and then I get just a little urge to create. Man!!!! I sure hope my mojo comes back full force. I don't know how much I can take. LOL.

Anyway, I wanted to share another card I worked on yesterday. This time I used a stamp from The Greeting Farm and colored it with my copic markers. ( I'm still learning to use those markers) The paper I used is called the Linen Closet stack by DCWV. That's two cards in one day. I hope that means my mojo is returning.

I created this quick little card using my new Fiskars Summer 2011 punches. There are quite a few punches in this collection. The punch I used is called She Sea Shells.
I was so anxious to use it that I just punched a few shells out just to create something quick. I have more ideas for this punch, so I'm sure you will see more from this punch.

Well I never participated in a color challenge before, so I was up for the challenge.

Although I didn't have the exact papers to match. I was able to cone up with some in my stash that was very similar ;-)

Here's another card I created. I found this cute friend stamp by TPC Studio. It's actually part of a cling rubber stamp set. I love the way this card turned out and the sentiment went perfect with the design paper that I chose.

I think its a gift if you can find true friends that will stick by you NO MATTER what happens. Friends like that are truely hard to find. If you have a friend like that make sure you appreciate them to the fullest.

Dance in the rain

I hope you all are having a wonderful Thursday. The weather is just beautiful here today. I decided to create a card and photograph it outside.
I had a new stamp set by Justrite stamps that I really needed to use. It's been sitting on my desk now for a couple of weeks. I know, I'm bad about that, but I promise I am trying to do better.
For this card I used my spellbinder oval nestabilities die, a piece of Webster pages paper I had in my scrap pile, and for my card base I used Recollection Cardstock. I also added some pearls and my ribbon is by Stampin Up.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
