Beautiful Girl!!!

I found this photo of my baby girl Tamiyah on my oldest daughter memory card. I asked who took this picture and the kids say "Mom Tamiyah took that picture of herself". I thought this picture was absolutely gorgeous of her. To me it captures her innocent side. I definitely had to scrap this photo of her. For this layout I used the Basic Grey Kioshi Line and chipboard accents. I also got a chance to use some rose/pearl trim that i picked up at a local craft store. Other items used were my Martha Stewart punch, Prima pearls, and American craft Thickers. I like the way it turned out. Such a Beautiful Girl!

Look A-Like!!!!

Good morning everyone! Here's another layout I created yesterday of my son with his dad. My son doesn't really care for this layout because he doesn't really care for his dad since he isn't around for him. I mean I do not speak bad of the guy, but my son has come to the tender age of 14 were he knows and sees how his dad is. Crazy right! He( the guy) brought that all on his self. I hate my little man has to deal with that, but he knows who is there for him and he calls me his dad on Fathers day! How cute. Anyway, this photo was taken a few years ago before his dad left town. Whenever those two were together (Which was not often) people would always say how much they looked alike. I basicly scraped this photo for that REASON ONLY!!!!!! Hey the guy is a dead beat, but i have such a AWESOME, BEAUTIFUL, TALENTED little man out of the deal. Mommy loves YOU baby no matter what. You are always going to have me. I'm your mother and your father along with your uncles.

Pretty Boy Swag!!!

Today I had a creative burst and I completed 3 Layouts. I think that is pretty good for me considering I am always busy and just never find the time to create any 12x12 layouts. I came across a picture of my oldest son and decided to scrap two of them. I had bought the Bo Bunny Block Party collection over the summer at an EXPO that I attended. I also got to use my i-rock tool on this layout. I think the bling gave it some pazaaz and I added bling to his ear just for fun. LOL. He was always asking to get his ears peirced and I said no, so I figure why not add some to this layout. Part of the swag right!!!!! LOL........ Look at my Baby, he is such a cool kid!

A Trip down Memory Lane!

Today I came across some photos of my youngest son at his 7th birthday party. Seeing those photos took me down memory lane. He was sooooooo adorable and tiny back then. AWE!!!! He would have a cow if he knew I said that. Now he's my little big man. He just turned 11 years old on last Friday and I will be scrapping those photos soon. Today I had to just scrap those photos of him as he was trying to blow the candles out on his cake. I know these photos should have been scrapped a long time ago, but when you have as many photos as I do, well you all know it's very easy to get behind. On this layout I used the Bo Bunny Block Party Collection. My letters were cut using my cricut and the Plantin School Book Cartridge. I also did some faux stitching around the letters and borders of my photo mats.

A couple of 3x3 cards!

Lately I have been into coloring my stamped images using my copic marker, Bic Sharpie markers, and even regular colored pencils. I came across a stamp set by Hero Arts at my local craft store a few months ago. I decided to try my hand again at creating a card. I just felt the need to try something different for me that day. I created two 3x3 cards using the 3 Little Girls stamp set by Hero Arts. On this first card I added to little girls that I colored with my copics and sharpie markers onto pop-dots. The sentiment is one that I wrote down and cut out using a pair of decorative scissors. ( See I went old school with that one and just kept it (REAL SIMPLE).The second card I also kep real simple and colored using my copics and sharpies. I did use a border punch for this one and added a ribbon. The sentiment is also one that I just wrote down. Except I used my scallop circle punch to punch it out and adhere it using pop-dots. I had fun creating the 3x3 cards. I'm not really into card making, but i love looking at photos of others card creations. Looks super easy. Who knows I just may venture off to that side as well. TFL!!!!!

Tag/ATC Swap!!!

For the past couple of months I have been participating in a Tag?ATC swap that my friend Shen is hosting over on her blog. This was actually my very first time participating in a swap were I had to create something and also my first time ever creating a ATC. I liked this swap because there are no paticular themes and you get to choose whatever you want to create. Which for me worked out great. I found that creating this way was not stressful and pressure free. That was also great since that was my first time participating in any type of swap. However, I will get around to challenging my self to doing a themed swap. Well actually I already started, but that's for another post. I choose to create ATC instead of tags because i had never created one before and let me tell you, it is SOOOO much fun. Heck, it's even addiciting! LOL..... I must admit that I am really into creating these little things. There are so many possibilities when it comes to creating ATC's. Here are pictures of two ATC's that I have created so far. I am currently working on my third one. Please feel free to show me some love! TFL.......Teniqua
