End of Summer Trip!!!

Well its almost that time of year again. Back to school time. As promised i took my kids on a little end of summer trip to a local Amusement Park that we had yet to attend. Boy! Did we have the most amazing time. I'm still not sure who had the most fun. The Kids or Me?????? We got a chance to get on almost everything. Thrilling rides, water rides, and even played some amusement games. Some of the lines where too long, but i guess that was to be expected considering most families had the same ideas........ My baby girl shocked usa all as she wanted to get on the roller coasters. She was tall enough and not scared at all. However, my boys they just couldn't bring themselves to get on the big roller coasters, but by the end of the night my oldest son swallowed his fear and conquered the biggest roller coaster they had. Mommy did too!!!!!! What a awesome time we had.

Girl Stuff Layout!

Sorry you guys! I'm still trying to figure out how to post. I wish io could have gotten all of this in one layout liked i had hoped to, but it really didn't turn out the way i wanted it. I'm still learning! Ha-Ha! Well here is the final layout that i created this week. I really needed to scrap these pictures odf my DD Tamiyah. She loves to take pictures for me. She is such a girlie girl at times. She was only 4 years old in this picture. I thought it went great with this paper line by Colorbox.

Cute Layout!!!

Here is another layout od my DD Tamiyah i also created last week. These photos were originally color photos, but after playing around with my software i decided to use them in black and white. I think it turned out great. This paper collection is also by Colorbox.

I used a vellum saying under the right corner of the photos that says Not your average girl. I never used vellum before and didn't quit know how to adhere it to my layout, so i just adhered it using some really cute brads. Perfect!!!!

New Layouts!!!

Here are a few layouts that i created this week of my DD Tamiyah. I used a paper collection by Colorbox and i kept these layouts real simple. I miss making 12x12 layouts. I really need to get back to creating them..........

Craft Desk Mini!!!

Hi you all! Here is another project i worked on this week. I actually created 2 projects this week, but i am only going to post one today, since i will be leaving shortly to attend my very first EXPO! So excited about that!!! Anyway, here is my project. I guess i will call this my craft desk mini. I will be displaying this little baby on my craft/scrap desk for motivation/inspiration.

This project was super easy and quick. All i used was my scraps and 3-D embellishments.

To make this project start by cutting some 12x12 chipboard down to 10x5 and score in the center. Also cut your cardstock down to 10x5, score, and adhere it to your chipboard. Take your Crop-A-Dile/Big Bite and add 2 holes just a few inches apart from each other on the top and bottom of the chipboard. For your photo mats just cut another sheet of cardstock and thin chipboard to 41/2 inches and embellish to your liking. If you would like you can also add ribbon to the bottom 2 holes of your chipboard. Super easy and quick everyone. I hope this inspires you to create one for your craft/scrap area. Photo Coasters!!!

Happy Monday everyone! I hope everyone enjoyed there 4th of July weekend and having an extra day to be at home relaxing. My project for the week is one that i have been wanting to try. Photo Tile Coasters! I got inspired to do so from visiting a blog that i love to visit from time to time. This lady has some very nice work. If you are wondering who i am talking about you can visit her here at http://NubianCrafter.blogspot.com/

She also created this project and i fell in love with it. This project will make a nice gift to family and friends. All it took was 4x4 tiles, cork, modge podge, stamps, ink, permanent glue, tissue paper, and of course photos of your choice. Creating this project was quit simple and actually very quick to complete. I made this set for myself, but i will be creating some for my family and friends.

Also check out http://splitcoaststampers.com in the resources section. They have an awesome tutorial on creating this project that you can actually print out. Just search Photo Tiles on their site.

For info on printing on tissue paper check out http://ShimmyBeanCreation.blogspot.com/ Look for the video tutorial in her archives section.

Well everyone i hope you liked my project for the week and it inspires you to create some photo coasters for your family or friends. Thanks for looking! ~Teniqua~
