Three new cards!

Today was a snow day for me. Nothing much to do but, lounge around, clean, play in the snow and crafting. Can you figure out which ones I did today? Well, actually I did all of them. Although I love to craft, I had a really good time in the snow with my children. Boy, they got me good. My excuse is I was out numbered. LOL. Anyway, here are three new cards that I created today. No plan, no ryhme, or reason. Just kinda went with the flow.

Thanks for taking a peak!

True Love!

Who said you couldn't create a nice card using cheap pattern paper or should I say really reasonable paper?????????
Well I know it wasn't me! A few weeks ago I was at my local Target and while I was there I browsed the dollar bins. If you haven't checked out Targets dollar section yet, please stop sleeping on that section. You would NOT be disappointed. OMG! The dollar section at Target really have some great crafting items at prices that will NOT hurt our purses. LOL. I'm serious. Check it out for yourselves. Ok. So I created this card using a piece of the pattern paper that I found. It came in a super cute Valentine package along with 8 other different papers. I am so in love with this card. I love the color combo that I chose for it. Really Pretty! :-)

Cute card from a friend!

I received this card yesterday from my dear friend over at Mycuriouscrafts.blogspot.com. It was a total shock to me. Ms.Shen also included a new stamp set for me to play with. Awesome job Shen on this card and thank you so much for the stamp set. Greatly appreciated my friend. :-)

My sunny friend!

Hello everyone! Happy Saturday to you all. Today has been a quiet and relaxing day for me. The children have been busy all day. Everything from sleep overs to attending a birthday party. Whew! I got a chance to have some quiet time on a Saturday. I tell you, that does not come often, so I enjoyed it. Anyway, I want to share a card with you all. This card I decided to use a stamp that I picked up from out of the dollar section at my local craft store. I think it turned out super cute. Let me know what you all think.

Little Miss Geisha

Here's another card for you guys tonight. I have really surprised myself. I used the Geisha stamp from the greeting farm. I really love those stamps. Adorable! I only colored in her skin and her her using my copic markers. For her outfit and hair piece I stamped her on some patterned paper, cut out the outfit and hair piece, and glued them to my original stamped image. This technique was a first for me and definitely a lot of fun. Thanks for stopping by.

Happy New Year!

Wow! Another year is here. Happy 2011 to you all. I hope everyone is safe and having a blessed time. So many resolutions out here. My resolutions are to be on time, create at least 30 layouts this year, create more mini albums, and to challenge myself to do different techniques. I know my layout goals are a little small right now, but I'm trying to keep it simple. LOL. I found that I really have no style right now when it comes to creating. I'm kinda all over the place and like creating a little bit of everything. Hopefully this year I will find my creative style. I also plan to blog more and join challenges, so if you guys know of any please send me a email or leave a comment for me to check out the sites as well as your own site.

Happy New Year
