Tea Cup Smiles!

I finally got a chance a couple days ago to play with my gypsy machine. Back in October if you bought a gypsy before the end of the month, then you were able to get new cartridges that you could download to your gypsy msc. One of those cartridges was the all exclusive Smiley Cards cartridge. Man! If you have this cartridge, then you know exactly what I mean when I say Man. OMG! This cartridge is full of cute little images that have little smiley faces on them. I decided to go with the cute little tea cup. So cute!

I used cardstock from recollections.
Swiss dots and Divine swirl cuttlebug embossing folders.
Aqua mist papertreyink ribbon.
Black saddle stitch ribbon from Micheal's.
White Sakura gelly roll pen.
Tea cups measured at 4.25

super mom

A few weeks ago I created this cute little card using one of my greeting farm stamps. This little girl is from the Miss Anya Collection. This card is measured at 5x7 and the patterned paper collection is Mommy Style by Karen Foster Designs. The plum pudding saddle stitched ribbon from Papertreyink really set this card off. Thanks for taking a peak!

I am

A few weeks ago I had decided that I was finally going to create a mini album of just me. I'm used to creating albums of my children and of other people, but never have I created one just about me. Well, I had this great idea and I was even going to use my Cinch binding machine to bind my album. I gotten everything together, completed a few pages, and even bound the album together before I realized that it just wasn't the way I wanted it to look. What can I say. Maybe I had lost my mojo somewhere in the thought process of it all. LOL. Long story short I decided to take one of the pages out of the album and place it in a shadow box I had laying around my craft room. This layout is softer side of me with words describing everything that I am. Well the things that matter the most.

Merry Christmas Layout!

I have really been missing creating 12x12 layouts. I have made it a point to get back to creating them. Here is a layout that I have been wanting to do for quite sometime now and that's to create a layout using my cricut expression machine. I have used my cricut for other things before, but never to complete an entire layout. For my first layout using the cricut, I actually do not think it's to bad. It's kinda cute, but now I know exactly how I could take this up a notch. Practice makes perfect right! Let me know what you all think?

Cards and Tags for ATC Swap!!!

Wow you guys I'm really on a roll tonight. I guess you can say my mojo is back and in full effect :) I just wanted to share the Tags that I made for the swap I'm a part of over at mycuriouscrafts.blogspot.com. I'm having so much fun over there creating things. I think for the year 2011 I'm going to push myself and challenge myself to do bigger, better, and more techniques when it comes to scrapping. There is so much talent out here and so much to learn. That's the fun part of it. Anyway, enough of my rambling and on with the tags. Well I just noticed that I didn't take any photos of the tags I created, but if you would like to see them, please check out my Youtube channel @ tenitinycrafts. It's the post that states Christmas cards/Tags for ATC/TAG swap. It's easy to find. Once you're on YT do a searc for tenitinycrafts, click on my video and it should take you straight to my channel. If you decide to go, please leave me some love an dlet me you checked it out. Also with this swap I decided to create some Christmas cards for the ladies that are also in the swap this month. Here they are!

Miss Anya

I just love these stamps. Lately I can't seem to get enough of them. I created another one you all and I'm sure I will be creating more. This stamp also came in the Special Autumn set along with Ian. The sentiment stamps came along also. For this card, well actually I just mounted it on the front of a 4x6 heavy chipboard. I think I will keep this on myu craft desk, because I truely am what the sentiment says. LOL. We all are! The paper I used is Petal Pushers by Bo Bunny and I used my large label 8 nestabilities die. I also did the sponging technique were you emboss and sponge the inner sides. I chose to sponge the entire die cut peice to give it the appearance of being outside.I even added some glitter to her scarf. I think this one by far is my favorite!

Happy Me!

Hi there! Here's another greeting farm image card that I created. I have been having a blast playing around with these images. I did not do any real stitching on this card, but I did do faux stitching. I just can't seem to stay away from that for to long! LOL

Your Something Special!!!

Here's a cute little card ( I think so) that I created yesterday using one of my greeting farm stamps. I'm still new at coloring with my copic markers, but I think im getting there with practice. Hehe! I also played around with adding stitches to my cards. I had a time with my sewing machine, but never the less I got it done. I mean, to get better at something you have to practice right???????

Talk to me you guys! Let me know what you think!

Forever Young!!!

Hi everyone! Here a few I projects I created using the Forever Young Cricut Cartridge. OMG! I just love this cartridge. So many things you can do with it. I even created a purse with some 3x3 cards to match, but I didn't take any photos of it. My mojo has been in high gear all day. Whew I'm tired! LOL. Anyway, I decided to create two cards. One is a bra card and the other is a S-Fold card. I think that's what you call it. I'm not to sure. I have been wanting to create a card using the bra every since I saw it, but I really didn't know where to go. Well, now that I have my gypsy and I have learned all about the welding feature there is no stopping me now. I think I just may weld everything together from now on. LOL. Boy I'm I hooked! I am glad I got to break in my new toy!!!

A card challenge with a friend!!!

I actually just finished creating this card! My friend Shen and I decided to use our cricut machines today to create a card. She has wayyyyy more cartridges than I do, but we manage to find one that we had in common. Doodlecharms! Yup! Doodlecharms! She kept saying choose an animal any animal and why I do not know, for some reason I chose the mouse. Maybe because I really didn't see anything else appealing to me at the time. Anyway, I had no idea as to what I was going to do. I just got some paper and begin to cut and paste. Well, Usually I like most of my projects/card, but this card I am totally on the fence about. Maybe because I had to draw her little face, knowing I can't draw a lick. LOL. I even hand written my little saying. Who does that????? Anyone????? Please let me know. Please. I really need to get some stamps, but I made a way with it. Just goes to show you do not have to have it all in order to create something! :))

My New Toy!!!

I am SOOOOOO super duper EXCITED! I got a brand new toy! Oh Yeah! I guess you can say it's an early birthday present. At least that's what I was told, but I do not care. I was to excited to hear anything else after I saw this baby. I had been wanting one since they came out. Better late than neva I say. I can't wait to play with this baby. If anyone can give me any tips, tricks, or point me to some great tutorials, I will be more than happy. :~))

October ATC's

Here are a few of the ATC's I created for the month of October. I really kept it simple this month, because I had a lot going on. I do however, really like the way they turned out. I just did some faux stitching around the card and in the center I added a 3-D sticker that turns/says something different if you hold it at an angle. I noticed that while taking the pictures I actually captured that in my photos. If you look closely at all 3 ATC's you will be able to see it.

First Paper Bag Mini Album!!!

Yes! You read correctly. This is my first time ever creating a mini album out of paper bags. I must admit that they are actually not as hard as I thought it was going to be. I have actually been putting off creating one, just for that fact. Well, I have conquered my scrapping fear of this album. Yayyyyyy! LOL. Anyway, for this album I used K&Company Spooktacular collection. I just love the bright fun elements of this collection. For my cover I cut down some medium weight chipboard to give it a hard book like feel to my album. I'm not quite finish with this album. There are a few minoe details left to be done. Like adding photos of my children. Let me know what you guys think. I love to read comments.

Birthday Card!!!

Today is my friend Lisa at Scrapin2010 Birthday! I decided to create a card to send to her. On this card I used the Be Yourself stamp set by Close to My Heart. I'm really liking this stamp set. Very Girlie! Once again im addicted to the faux stitching. I didn't go to crazy with it on this card, but i did on the envelope I made to go with this card. You can see in the pictures were I thought I was finished with the card, but then decided to add some bling to the ladies ponytails and the ribbon using my I-Rock tool. Love that tool!

He needs to be with me whenever I go scrapbook shopping! LOL

Hello Kitty!!!

Yesterday my daughters BFF and her favorite cheer buddy was having a birthday party. Out of all things I had completely forgotten about this party. I mean I had even forgot to RSVP, but thank goodness I knew the mother well enough that she held our spots for us. So at the last minute I had to create a card. Now if you have been reading my blog posts, you all have heard me say over and over again that I am not a card maker. LOL...... I was a little bit nervous that I was going to make a card to give to someone else. What if they didn't like it??????? Well, I had no choice. It was time to create it and head to to party. Here is what I came up with. Let me know what you all think. I love to get feedback! :~)

Post it note holder

Here's a project I created yesterday from with my friend Shen over at Mycuriouscrafts.blogspot.com. She had created some post it note holders and sent them out to the ladies that participate in her monthly swaps. I was impressed by them and I asked her to show me how to create one. Although we live miles apart she managed to teach me over the phone. I must say that was a lot of FUN! This was suppose to just be my protype. You know, the one you make from scratch as a templete or base guide. LOL. Well, I ended up raiding my scrap pile and here is what I came up with on a whim!
Thanks Shen!

Two New Cards

I had so much fun creating the last few cards that I decided to try my hand at creating a couple more. I didn't realize how much fun creating cards could be. The images I used on these two cards I received in a RAK from a friend over on Youtube. I thought they were so adorable!!! I used my copic markers to color them in. Now, im still a newbie when it comes to copic coloring, but I will eventually get there with practice. LOL. In the end I think they turned out super cute! Let me know what you guys think. I love to read comments!!!

Trying my hand at card making!!!

I created these cards just for fun using some rubber cling stamps that I picked up at my local craft store. I have been wanting to try cling stamps for quite some time now. Now, I am new to card making, but here is what I created using them. Not to bad!!!! (I think)

Beautiful Girl!!!

I found this photo of my baby girl Tamiyah on my oldest daughter memory card. I asked who took this picture and the kids say "Mom Tamiyah took that picture of herself". I thought this picture was absolutely gorgeous of her. To me it captures her innocent side. I definitely had to scrap this photo of her. For this layout I used the Basic Grey Kioshi Line and chipboard accents. I also got a chance to use some rose/pearl trim that i picked up at a local craft store. Other items used were my Martha Stewart punch, Prima pearls, and American craft Thickers. I like the way it turned out. Such a Beautiful Girl!
