Dance in the rain

I hope you all are having a wonderful Thursday. The weather is just beautiful here today. I decided to create a card and photograph it outside.
I had a new stamp set by Justrite stamps that I really needed to use. It's been sitting on my desk now for a couple of weeks. I know, I'm bad about that, but I promise I am trying to do better.
For this card I used my spellbinder oval nestabilities die, a piece of Webster pages paper I had in my scrap pile, and for my card base I used Recollection Cardstock. I also added some pearls and my ribbon is by Stampin Up.

Altered dressform and a card

Hello my scrapping buddies!

Today I wanna share another altered wooden project I created. I found this dressform at Micheals's a while ago and never had a moment to were I could just sit down and start playing with it. Well, last week I did. I started by painting it using Folkart metallic paint, then I covered it using a new stack by DCWV. A few prime flowers and other embellishments and I was done. I really like the color choices I put together for this project.

I created a matching card also.

Captured Fairy in a bottle

I was checking my subscriptions on Youtube one day and over and over again I kept getting the same or similar videos about the same creations. Oh my! When I had seen what some of the ladies over there were creating, I just knew I had to give it a try. I had fallen in love with it. I just simply thought that was such a cute littel idea to create. I must say I had fun with this project as well. I mean I always have fun when im crafting. Who doesn't????? lOL

Anyway, here is my take on it. I think it turned out absolutely beautiful! My girls fell in love with it also. So you know I had to create two more just for them :)

Altered box, Clothespin, and Mini Album

I started this challenge that I would start altering all the wooden things that I had bought sometime ago. I decided that I needed to challenge myself to get these unaltered projects altered. LOL.

First up on my list was to alter this little dollar box I picked up awhile ago from my local craft store. I added some paint and covered the front and back using some papers from the Webster pages collections. Cute! I loved the paper so much that I really didn't want to cover it up. I just added some trim, a few flowers, and some pearl rhinestone that I also had in my stash. I didn't like the previous color of the rhinestone, so I colored it using my copic markers.

To take it a step further I decided that my little altered box needed a mini album to go inside of it. Although it was a tight squeeze to fit one inside, it could be done, so I had to make sure that I didn't pack my album with bulky embellishments. (Kinda hard for me to do) I got it done :)

Next, I altered a clothespin that i came across using nothing but the scraps I had left over from the Webster pages collection. How great was that! LOL

The best of TIMES

As promised here is mini album number two. This album is called a 3-ring binder mini. I got the idea by watching a tutorial over on YouTube. I must say, for this album to be my first, it was really fun. I loved creating this album. I even got a chance to use my sewing machine. I think this is actually my first mini where I didn't add any photos.

Butterfly Kisses

Hello my scrappin friends!
I know once again It's been awhile since my last post. I promise I will start doing better at this.

I have a few post of some of my latest creations. I figure I will start with the mini albums I created.

This album I titled it Butterfly Kisses. I created thus album using paper bags that you can find just about anywhere these days. This is my second time creating paper bag albums. I think this album came out really pretty. Since I was putting pictures of my kids in, I thought I would use bright summer colors.

March ATC and Card Swap

Hi scrappin friends,

I know its been awhile since my last post, but my computer had come down with a bad virus. Boy! I'm just now getting him back. It didn't stop me from creating though.

Today I want to share with you all my project I created for my friend Shen's monthly ATC and Card swap.
Since it was going to be St.Patricks day real soon, I thought I would just create something along that line.

For my ATC I used these cute little buttons my daughter picked out from the Target dollar spot. I used my heart punch to create a dimensional four leaf clover. I love the way it turned out.

As for my card, I just kept it real simple and used the same paper that I used for my ATC.
